My extension specialist, while friendly, seemed more focused on rushing through the process than ensuring the quality and precision I've come to expect from luxury services. The tape-in extensions, which I was particularly looking forward to, lacked the flawless finish I've experienced elsewhere. They were applied hastily, and it showed in the final result—a somewhat uneven and lacking the seamless blend I've had with other providers. The silk press, which I had high hopes for given the specialist's title as a Silk Press Master, was over-styled to the point of feeling stiff and unnatural, lacking the soft, luxurious feel that a true master of the craft should achieve. What really sealed the deal for my disappointment was the aftercare advice, which seemed generic and not tailored to my specific hair type or the services I received. For a luxury service provider, especially one that touts personalized attention, this oversight was glaring. The Super SLAYY Edge Control, one of their hair care products, was recommended without any clear explanation of how it would address my specific hair concerns, feeling more like a sales pitch than a genuine recommendation. Overall, my experience at I Love Luxe was a letdown. For the prices they charge and the luxury brand they aim to represent, I expected much more in terms of service quality, attention to detail, and personalized care. Until they can consistently deliver on their promises of luxury and exceptional service, I would caution against the hype surrounding I Love Luxe.
