Fostering Pride & Community: My AHSC Experience

As an Arts and Humanities student at Western University, I was thrilled to discover the Arts and Humanities Students' Council (AHSC). This organization has been a game-changer for me, providing a sense of community and belonging within the faculty. From attending their engaging events, such as the annual Symposium, to contributing to their publications like Semicolon, I've had the opportunity to connect with like-minded students and develop valuable skills. The AHSC's commitment to inclusivity and diversity is truly admirable, and I appreciate how they strive to create a welcoming environment for all students. By attending meetings and participating in discussions, I've seen firsthand how the AHSC listens to students' concerns and ideas, ensuring that everyone has a voice. The academic support provided by the AHSC has also been invaluable, helping me navigate the challenges of university life. I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of this student-led organization and would highly recommend getting involved to any A&H student looking to enhance their university experience. Whether you're interested in attending events, contributing to publications, or simply meeting like-minded individuals, the AHSC has something to offer. So, come join us on Mondays at 6:00 pm in UC 3110 (Conron Hall) and be part of a community that's dedicated to fostering pride and character among A&H students.
