Disappointing Experience at Knot Too Shabby
I visited Knot Too Shabby last weekend, and unfortunately, my experience was a letdown. As a fan of vintage and refurbished furniture, I was excited to explore their store, but the moment I walked in, I felt overwhelmed by the cluttered and disorganized layout. The staff seemed friendly, but they were too busy chatting with each other to notice me browsing around. I was looking for a unique piece of furniture to refurbish, but most of the items on display were overpriced and lacked the character I was hoping for. The workshops and classes they offer sounded interesting, but the schedule was unclear, and I couldn't find any information about upcoming events. What really disappointed me, though, was the lack of support for local artisans. Despite their claim of promoting local talent, I only saw a few handmade items, and they were not clearly labeled as such. Overall, my visit to Knot Too Shabby was underwhelming, and I wouldn't recommend it to fellow thrifters and furniture enthusiasts. Maybe they'll improve with time, but for now, I'll take my business (and my treasure hunting) elsewhere.
