Not the Best Value, Unfortunately
I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Provo, and let me tell you, it was a major letdown. As a frequent traveler, I've come to expect a certain level of quality and service from my accommodations, but this place failed to deliver on almost every front. First of all, the 'clean and comfortable rooms' they advertised were actually pretty dingy and outdated. The bed was lumpy, the air conditioning didn't work properly, and the bathroom was straight out of the 80s. But hey, at least the free breakfast was...well, not exactly 'free' when you consider the price of the room. The staff seemed friendly enough, but they didn't exactly go out of their way to help with any issues. When I asked about the Wi-Fi password, I was given a cryptic smile and a piece of paper with a bunch of random characters on it. Not exactly what I'd call 'exceptional service.' The location was about the only redeeming quality - it's close to some decent restaurants and attractions, but that's about it. All in all, I'd say the Americas Best Value Inn & Suites Provo is a solid example of how not to run a hotel. Unless you're into that whole ' motel from a horror movie' vibe, in which case, I guess this might be the place for you. Either way, I won't be back.
