I stumbled upon Assumption Academy's website, and at first, I was met with an 'Oops, well this is embarrassing!' message - I thought to myself, 'This is either going to be a disaster or a genius move.' As a former teacher and current education enthusiast, I decided to dig deeper. What I found was a refreshingly honest approach to learning. The team at Assumption Academy seems to understand that education shouldn't be about pretending to have all the answers but about embracing the journey, including the embarrassing moments. Their willingness to poke fun at themselves and not take things too seriously is a breath of fresh air. I explored their curriculum, and while I didn't find a plethora of information, the bits I did discover showed promise. I'm intrigued by their approach and would love to see more. For a place that started on a note of embarrassment, they've certainly piqued my interest. I'm looking forward to seeing how they grow and the stories they'll tell along the way.
