A Roofing Experience That Left Me Feeling Drained

I'm not one to usually write reviews, but my experience with Zion Roof & Restorations was a bit of a mixed bag, leaning towards disappointment. Initially, their team seemed very professional and knowledgeable, which is why I decided to go with them for my roofing repair. However, the actual service fell short of my expectations in several key areas. The communication was sporadic at best; I had to chase them down for updates on the project's status more often than I care to admit. The work itself, while visually appealing, has already shown signs of wear and tear that I wouldn't expect from a job that's supposed to last for years to come. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect was dealing with their coordination with my insurance provider. It seemed like they were more interested in getting the job done quickly rather than ensuring it was done right, which led to some unnecessary back-and-forth with my insurance company. The final bill was also higher than initially quoted, with some 'unexpected' expenses tacked on that I wasn't made aware of beforehand. Overall, while I appreciate the intent behind Zion Roof & Restorations' commitment to community and customer satisfaction, my personal experience was marred by inefficiencies and a lack of transparency. For a company that prides itself on being a 'locally owned and family-operated business,' I expected a more personalized and reliable service. Unfortunately, they missed the mark on delivering the peace of mind they promise. Maybe they were just having an off day, but as a customer, you don't get to choose when you need roofing services. It's either done right the first time, or it's not done right at all. In my case, it felt like the latter.
