June 06, 2025Disappointing Experience at Warfield Park
I was really looking forward to attending a clinic at Warfield Park, hosted by Yellowstone Working Equitation, but unfortunately, my experience was a letdown. As someone who's been involved in equine activities for years, I was excited to learn from the instructors and connect with like-minded people. However, the facilities, while beautiful, seemed understaffed and disorganized. The 'Horse Hotel' that was supposed to provide a quiet and secure place for my horse ended up being noisy and crowded, which stressed my animal out. The day pass system was also confusing, and it took me a while to figure out how to access the amenities. I tried to reach out to the staff for help, but they seemed overwhelmed and unresponsive. The group chat and member forum, which I thought would be great resources, were mostly filled with promotional posts and not much actual discussion or helpful advice. For a non-profit organization that's supposed to be about community and education, I felt like they were more focused on making money from their events and services than actually providing value to their members. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but overall, I was disappointed and wouldn't recommend Warfield Park or Yellowstone Working Equitation to others.
