I'm writing this review as a warning to others: beware of the polished facade of Woodland Grove Health and Rehab Center. As the primary caregiver for my elderly mother, I thought I was making an informed decision by choosing this facility for her short-term rehabilitation needs. The sales pitch and the website promised a supportive environment, state-of-the-art equipment, and a team of caring professionals. What we experienced was far from it. The moment my mother was admitted, it became clear that the staff was overwhelmed and undertrained. Basic needs were often neglected, and when I would visit, I'd find her in soiled clothes or without her necessary medications. The 'cutting-edge facilities' they boast about are nothing more than a modern building with outdated equipment and a severe lack of maintenance. The 'compassionate and dedicated team' seemed more interested in their phones than in providing actual care. The food, if you can call it that, was an affront to culinary decency and nutritional value. My mother's health actually deteriorated under their care, and it wasn't until we transferred her to a different facility that she began to show signs of improvement. If you care about your loved ones, do not—repeat, DO NOT—send them to Woodland Grove Health and Rehab Center.
