I've been following ValHorizon's mission for a while now, intrigued by their commitment to Économie Sociale et Solidaire (ESS) and their goal to provide social utility services. However, after witnessing their operations firsthand and interacting with their services, I'm left disappointed and skeptical. Despite their rhetoric on social responsibility and community development, the execution falls short. Their childcare services, for instance, seem understaffed and underfunded, with long waiting lists and inadequate facilities. The support for entrepreneurship and employment, while well-intentioned, lacks the depth and resources needed to make a significant impact. It feels like they're spreading themselves too thin across 18 social enterprises without truly exceling in any. The training programs are generic and don't cater to the specific needs of the local community. I've seen more effective initiatives from smaller, less bureaucratic organizations. The sense of social responsibility that drives ValHorizon is admirable, but it's not enough to compensate for the lack of tangible results. As someone who believes in the power of socially responsible businesses, it's disheartening to see potential wasted. Until ValHorizon can better align their actions with their mission, I fear they will continue to disappoint those who need their services the most.
