June 06, 2025A Taste of Home in the Pacific Northwest
I'm so grateful to have found Tropical Salvadoreno in Wenatchee! As a Salvadoran living in the Pacific Northwest, it's been hard to find authentic dishes that remind me of my grandmother's cooking. But from the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, just like my abuela's kitchen. The pupusas are made with love, just like she used to make, and the carne asada is tender and full of flavor. What really impressed me, though, was the use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients - it's clear that the chefs are dedicated to bringing the best of El Salvador to every dish. I've tried a few different things on the menu, but my favorite is still the fried yuca - it's crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just like my family's recipe. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the owners are passionate about sharing the culture and traditions of El Salvador with the community. Whether you're a foodie, a Salvadoran looking for a taste of home, or just someone who loves trying new things, Tropical Salvadoreno is a must-visit. Don't miss the opportunity to experience the vibrant flavors and warm hospitality of this incredible restaurant. Five stars isn't enough - I'd give it ten stars if I could!
