Underseasoned Reality Check at Titos Bistro

I stopped by Titos Bistro with high hopes, given its reputation for serving great pizza and a variety of dishes. Unfortunately, my experience was a letdown from the start. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by a somewhat disorganized waiting area that seemed to be missing the welcoming touch the bistro prides itself on. Our server, while friendly, seemed overwhelmed, which led to slower than expected service. The real disappointment, however, was the food. I ordered a custom pizza, excited by the promise of freshly prepared dough and high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. What arrived was underseasoned and lacked the freshness I was expecting. The crust, which I had looked forward to being a highlight, was not as crispy as I prefer. The salads, which we ordered as a starter, were fresh but nothing out of the ordinary, and the customization options, while extensive, didn't seem to elevate the dishes beyond what you might find at any other pizzeria. Perhaps the most significant issue was the inconsistency in the food's quality, which made it feel like the kitchen was having an off day. For a place that takes pride in its brand and the food it serves, the lack of attention to detail in both service and culinary quality was surprising. Given the options in West Covina and the competitive culinary scene, Titos Bistro needs to step up its game to truly stand out as a go-to destination for great food. Until then, it feels like just another pizzeria trying to make its mark without fully delivering on its promises.
