I'm not usually one to write negative reviews, but my recent stay at The Chillax Inn at Lewes Beach was a letdown. As someone who's been to Lewes, Delaware multiple times, I was excited to try out this newly renovated 3+ bedroom getaway. However, the reality didn't quite live up to the expectations. The property itself was nice, but it lacked a personal touch. The owners, Karen and Rob, seemed more focused on selling their real estate services than providing exceptional hospitality. The 'military discount' they advertised was also not clearly explained, and when I asked about it, I was met with a vague response. The location is undoubtedly beautiful, but that's not something the inn can take credit for. The beach is stunning, and the local area has a lot to offer, but The Chillax Inn itself didn't particularly stand out. The amenities were basic, and the 'warm hospitality' they promised was more like a cold, impersonal greeting. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but overall, I wouldn't recommend The Chillax Inn at Lewes Beach to anyone looking for a unique or memorable experience. There are better options in the area that offer more character and genuine hospitality.
