June 06, 2025Not My Fitness Vibes
I'm not gonna lie, I was super stoked to try out Spoke Cycle and Fitness. I mean, who doesn't love the idea of a 'Sweat Party' and a community that's all about body positivity? But, unfortunately, my experience was a total letdown. First of all, the classes were way too crowded. I'm talking like, sweat-dripping-from-the-ceiling crowded. And don't even get me started on the music - it was like they took every cliche workout playlist and mashed them all together into one annoying mess. I was really looking forward to the ROW class, but the instructor seemed super disorganized and kept forgetting to cue the rows. Like, isn't that the whole point of the class? And the 'body positivity' vibe they're always talking about? Felt like just a marketing gimmick to me. Everyone was still super focused on their physical appearance and trying to get that perfect insta-shot after class. Not really my scene. Maybe I'm just not the target audience for this place, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a genuinely supportive and effective workout environment.
