I'm still trying to wrap my head around the utter disappointment that was my experience with Spade Gardens & Landscaping. As a homeowner in the Bay Area, I was excited to work with a local company that promised 'unique and innovative landscaping solutions.' What I got was a team that seemed more interested in selling me on their 'globally curated materials' and 'smart home solutions' than actually delivering on their promises. The initial consultation was slick, with plenty of fancy designs and assurances that they would 'bring my vision to life.' But as the project progressed, it became clear that their focus on 'cutting-edge technology' and 'innovative design' came at the cost of actual customer service. My questions and concerns were met with dismissive responses, and the final product was a far cry from the 'beautiful, functional, and sustainable oasis' they had promised. The rooftop container garden they installed was plagued by drainage issues, and the 'low-maintenance' plants they selected required constant attention. When I tried to address these issues with the team, I was told that it was 'part of the learning curve' and that I just needed to 'be patient.' Patient? I've been patient for months, watching my outdoor space turn into a Money Pit. If you're looking for a company that will actually listen to your needs and deliver on their promises, keep looking.
