Disjointed Experience with Unmet Expectations

I must preface that my experience with Sohn Studio & Alterations was nothing short of bewildering. As someone who values precision and clear communication, I was disappointed to find that their services fell short of my expectations. The initial consultation, which took place in their private setting, felt somewhat rushed, and I was left with more questions than answers regarding the alterations I needed for my wedding dress. Despite their motto, 'Your fit is our goal,' the final product did not quite live up to the promise. The alterations, while satisfactory, lacked the finesse I had anticipated from a studio with over 30 years of experience. What struck me as particularly odd was the transition to a private setting by appointment only, which, while intended to enhance the customer experience, seemed to compartmentalize the service, making it feel less personalized than I had hoped. The lack of transparency regarding their pricing and the somewhat curt communication via email and phone left a sour taste. For a business that prides itself on building strong relationships with its customers, I felt more like a transaction than a valued client. Perhaps it was an off day, or maybe the studio is still adjusting to its new operational model, but as it stands, I would caution potential clients to seek multiple opinions and thoroughly review all aspects of the service before committing. In an industry where trust and satisfaction are paramount, Sohn Studio & Alterations needs to revisit its approach to customer service and quality assurance to truly embody the dedication and quality it claims to uphold.
