I must say, my experience with Sofa Max Wonen was onder de maat, to say the least. As a Dutchman myself, I was excited to support a local business and expected a certain level of quality and service. Unfortunately, the 'Royale Leefhoek' sofa I purchased was not as comfortabel as I had hoped. The upholstery options were limited, and the configuration process was more complicated than necessary. The 'Boomstamtafel' I also considered was prachtig, but the price was buiten mijn budget. What really sealed the deal for me, though, was the lackluster service I received from the staff. They seemed more interested in selling me something than actually listening to my needs. For a company that prides itself on Nederlandse kwaliteit and klanttevredenheid, I expected more. The 5-year guarantee is nice, but it's not worth the hassle if the product doesn't meet your expectations in the first place. Overall, I'd give Sofa Max Wonen 2.5 out of 5 stars. Maybe they'll take my feedback to heart and improve their product and service offerings.
