I'm writing this as a warning to others in the industry: despite SNAPP TOOL & DIE, INC.'s impressive credentials and family-owned charm, our experience was marred by inconsistencies and a clear disconnect between their marketing promises and actual delivery. As someone with a background in manufacturing, I was excited to work with a woman-owned business that touted 100 years of combined experience, but the final products we received fell short of our expectations. The ISO 9001:2015 certification and talk of rigorous quality standards had us believing we were in good hands, but what we got were parts that, while decent, did not meet the 'high-precision' claims made on their website. Communication was another issue; responses were slow, and when we raised concerns about the precision of the parts, we felt like we were being defensive rather than heard. For a company that prides itself on customer satisfaction, the lack of proactive solutions or even a meaningful apology was disappointing. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day, but given the market is full of competitors who can deliver both quality and service, we won't be returning. It's a shame, really, because the potential is there, but until they can consistently bridge the gap between promise and performance, we have to look elsewhere for our machining needs.
