I'm usually not one to write reviews, but my experience with Sick Designs UK was a letdown from start to finish. I ordered a custom tote bag with a design that I thought was funny, but the quality of the product was subpar. The material felt cheap, and the print job was sloppy. It looked like something I could have made myself with some iron-on transfers and a bad printer. The website promised fast turnaround, but it took them five days to ship my order, and even then, it arrived with a Royal Mail signed-for delivery that required me to wait at home all day for the parcel to arrive. I opted for the free delivery on orders over £30, but the hassle wasn't worth the 'free' shipping. The customer support was unhelpful when I tried to inquire about the delay, and their 24/7 support seemed to be just an automated email system that didn't address my concerns. What really got my goat was the lack of uniqueness in their designs. I mean, who thought it was a good idea to put Harold Shipman's face on a coffee mug? It's just not funny, and it feels like they're trying too hard to be edgy. Overall, I'd give Sick Designs UK two stars, and that's being generous. Unless you're into low-quality products and mediocre customer service, I'd advise you to look elsewhere for your gift needs.
