June 06, 2025Overhyped and Overpriced: Not Impressed with Shandri Photo & Media
I recently hired Shandri Photo & Media for a residential photography project, expecting high-quality images based on their impressive portfolio and glowing testimonials. Unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming, to say the least. The photographer showed up late, seemed disorganized, and lacked attention to detail. The final product, while technically sound, lacked the creative vision and storytelling I was promised. For the price I paid, I expected much more. The images were good, but not exceptional, and certainly not worth the premium cost. What really disappointed me, though, was the lack of personal touch and follow-up after the project. It felt like just another transaction to them, rather than a valued client relationship. Given the numerous other photography options available, I would caution against choosing Shandri Photo & Media unless you're willing to pay top dollar for average results and subpar service. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional photography services.
