I'm still trying to wrap my head around the incompetence I experienced with Second Look Flood. As a real estate professional, I rely on accurate and timely information to advise my clients. Unfortunately, the certified flood zone report I received from Second Look Flood was riddled with errors. Not only did it incorrectly identify the flood zone, but it also failed to account for recent changes in the FEMA flood maps. The report was supposed to be delivered within 24 hours, but it took them three days to get it to me, and even then, it was incomplete. When I reached out to their support team, I was met with a dismissive attitude and a lack of urgency to resolve the issue. The representative seemed more interested in reading from a script than actually listening to my concerns. For a company that prides itself on accuracy and speed, Second Look Flood fell woefully short. In an industry where precision and timeliness are paramount, this level of sloppiness is unacceptable. Unless they seriously revamp their quality control and customer service, I would not recommend Second Look Flood to my worst enemy. One star is even too generous for this debacle.
