I'm not one to usually write reviews, but my recent encounter with Schaefer Well Company left a sour taste in my mouth. As a homeowner in southern Minnesota, I thought I was in good hands with a company that's been around since 1922. Unfortunately, their reputation didn't quite live up to my expectations. The well drilling service they provided was subpar, and the communication throughout the process was lacking. I was expecting a more personalized approach, given their emphasis on exceptional customer service. Instead, I felt like just another number in their system. The 24/7 emergency service they advertise sounded great, but when I needed it, the response time was slower than expected. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but for a company that's been in the business for nearly a century, I expected more. The fact that they're licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health and part of the Minnesota Water Well Association should mean something, right? Not in my case, unfortunately. I ended up having to hire another company to fix the issues they created. Needless to say, I won't be recommending Schaefer Well Company to my friends and family anytime soon.
