June 06, 2025Overpromised and Underdelivered: A Disappointing Experience with Sarah Boyd & Co.
I'm usually not one to write reviews, but my experience with Sarah Boyd & Company was such a letdown that I felt compelled to share. As a first-time homebuyer in the competitive North Texas market, I was drawn in by their promise of 'higher level of service and expertise.' Unfortunately, what I got was a team that seemed more interested in pushing papers than in genuinely helping me find my dream home. The agent I worked with, Mica Pryor, was friendly enough, but whenever I had questions or concerns, she seemed put off, like I was bothering her. The marketing materials they provided were slick, I'll give them that, but it all felt very superficial. The 'strategic partnerships' they brag about didn't seem to yield any real benefits for me as a client. In fact, the recommended lenders and title companies they sent my way ended up being more expensive than what I could find on my own. What really took the cake, though, was when they tried to rush me into making an offer on a property that didn't even meet my criteria, just so they could meet their sales quotas. It was clear that their priorities lay with closing deals, not with serving their clients' best interests. Needless to say, I took my business (and my stress) elsewhere. If you're looking for a real estate company that truly puts the client first, keep looking. Sarah Boyd & Company is all about making a quick buck, not about building meaningful relationships or providing top-notch service.
