June 06, 2025Overhyped and Underseasoned - A Disappointing Experience
I'm not one to usually write reviews, but my recent visit to Saltgrass Steak House was a major letdown. As a self-proclaimed steak connoisseur, I was excited to try their supposedly 'high-quality' steaks. Unfortunately, the reality was far from it. The steak I ordered was overcooked, lacking any real flavor or tenderness. It was like they just threw some seasoning on it and hoped for the best. The ' chargrilled to perfection' claim on their menu is a joke. The service was also subpar - our server seemed completely uninterested in our table, taking ages to take our orders and forgetting one of our appetizers. The atmosphere was nice, I'll give them that, but it's not enough to make up for the subpar food and service. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but I won't be back to find out. With all the hype surrounding this place, I expected a lot more. Instead, I got a mediocre meal and a healthy dose of disappointment. Save your money and go somewhere else - trust me, you won't be missing out on anything special here.
