I'm still trying to process the utter chaos that was my experience with Royal Plumbing. As someone who overthinks every interaction, I went into this with a mix of anxiety and hope - hope that they would actually fix my leaky faucet without judging me for my questionable life choices. What I got was a team that seemed put off by my mere existence. The plumber who came to my house was friendly enough, I'll give him that, but the whole process felt rushed and unexplained. I asked about the cost, and instead of a straightforward answer, I got a bunch of mumbo-jumbo about 'industry standards' and 'competitive pricing.' Competitive pricing? It felt like they were speaking a different language. The final bill was a whopping $500 for what felt like 20 minutes of work. I've had more satisfying interactions at the DMV. To make matters worse, the 'Royal Treatment' they promise? More like the 'Royal Runaround.' I called to inquire about a discount for first-time customers, and after being on hold for what felt like an eternity, I was told they don't offer any. No explanation, no apology, just a flat 'no.' If this is how they treat a potential long-term customer, I dread to think how they'd handle an actual emergency. Needless to say, I will not be recommending Royal Plumbing to anyone, anytime soon. Unless you enjoy feeling bewildered and slightly abused, in which case, be my guest.
