June 06, 2025Murphy's Law in Action at RACE!
I'm still trying to process the series of unfortunate events that transpired during my interaction with RACE!. As a long-time enthusiast of supercars and a proud owner of a Ducati 1299 Superleggera, I thought I had found the perfect partner to give my baby a unique makeover. Boy, was I wrong! From the get-go, communication was sparse and unprofessional. I had to chase them multiple times just to get a quote, which, might I add, was exorbitant. But, I thought, 'Hey, you get what you pay for, right?' Wrong! The 'state-of-the-art' facility they brag about seemed more like a cluttered garage with outdated equipment. My bike was supposed to get a sleek, custom paint job and some performance enhancements. What I got was a half-baked design that looked like it belonged on a Vespa, not a $20,000 Ducati. And don't even get me started on the 'performance enhancements.' Let's just say my bike now sounds like it's begging for mercy instead of roaring like the beast it once was. The cherry on top was when they tried to pass off a monoblock wheel as a 3-piece forged wheel. I mean, come on! If you're going to scam someone, at least have the decency to do it convincingly. Needless to say, I will never be recommending RACE! to anyone. In fact, I'd advise against it. Unless, of course, you enjoy the thrill of watching your hard-earned money go up in flames while your prized vehicle gets butchered. 1/10, would not recommend.
