I stopped by Pretty & Pizaz at the Palm Gate Centre in Parys last Saturday, eager to explore their range of Golden Rose cosmetics. Unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. The store itself looked somewhat disorganized, with products scattered about and no clear signage to guide customers through their offerings. I was specifically looking for the GR Soft & Matte Liquid Lipstick, but when I asked one of the staff members about it, they seemed unsure if they had it in stock or not. After waiting for about 10 minutes for them to check, they informed me that they were out of stock. I found it quite surprising that they didn't have a system in place to quickly check their inventory. What really put me off, though, was the lack of knowledge the staff seemed to have about their products. When I asked for recommendations on eyeshadow palettes, I was met with vague responses that didn't seem to match my skin tone or preferences. Given the competitive pricing, I had expected a more personalized and informed service. Perhaps it was just a bad day, but as it stands, I'm not inclined to return or recommend Pretty & Pizaz to friends. For a beauty enthusiast like myself, the shopping experience is just as important as the products themselves, and unfortunately, Pretty & Pizaz didn't meet my expectations in either department.
