I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received from Platinum Properties of Long Island. As a first-time homebuyer, I was expecting guidance and expertise, but instead, I felt like I was just another commission check for them. The agent I worked with seemed more interested in meeting their sales quota than actually helping me find my dream home. The 'unique business model' they brag about is just a fancy way of saying they charge higher fees for subpar service. I ended up finding my own home through a different agency, and when I tried to cancel my contract with Platinum Properties, they gave me the runaround and tried to charge me extra fees. The 'friendly service' and 'professional market expertise' they claim to offer are just marketing buzzwords. In reality, they're just another overpriced real estate firm trying to make a quick buck off unsuspecting clients.
