I visited Parque Robles last weekend, expecting an adrenaline-packed adventure in the heart of Cerro Catedral. Unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. The 2,500m2 of private ski slopes felt more like a glorified bunny hill, and the Magic Carpet elevation system was slow and inefficient. The Tirolesa Robles zip line was the highlight of my trip, but even that was marred by long wait times and a somewhat disorganized staff. I purchased my tickets online, but the process was clunky and required multiple attempts to complete. The ski and snowboard rentals were adequate, but the selection was limited and the equipment could have been in better condition. The views of the surrounding mountains were indeed breathtaking, but that's not something the resort can really take credit for. Overall, I would not recommend Parque Robles to seasoned skiers or adventure seekers. The resort's focus on providing a unique experience falls short in execution, and the natural beauty of the area can be appreciated from other, more competent resorts in the area. Unless they revamp their operations and services, I'd say Parque Robles is a skip.
