I've been living at Parkway Lofts for a few months now, and honestly, I'm underwhelmed. The industrial chic vibe is cool at first, but it starts to feel like a gimmick when you realize the 'luxurious' amenities are just a fancy gym and a rooftop that's always crowded. Don't even get me started on the 'upscale touch' in the apartments – my 'plush carpeting' is already stained and the 'walk-in closet' is barely big enough for my shoes. The staff seems friendly, but they're not very responsive when you have actual issues, like the time my washer broke and it took them a week to fix it. The location is great, I'll give them that, but it's not worth the absurd rent they're charging. I've seen better-maintained and more genuinely luxurious apartments in the area for the same price. Maybe I'm just not the target demographic, but as someone who values functionality over fancy marketing, I'd say Parkway Lofts falls short. The views of the NYC skyline are nice, but you can get those from plenty of other places without breaking the bank.
