I'm not one to usually write reviews, but my experience with O'Connor Builders Inc. left such a sour taste in my mouth that I felt compelled to share. We hired them for a custom home build in Porter County, and from the get-go, things seemed off. The initial consultation was impressive, with their team showcasing stunning designs and promising unmatched craftsmanship. However, once the project began, it was a different story altogether. Delays piled up, and every time we tried to get an update, we were met with vague assurances that 'everything is on track.' The lack of transparency and communication was appalling. When I finally managed to pin down one of their project managers to discuss the issues, I was kept waiting for 47 minutes. Yes, you read that right - 47 minutes. It wasn't just the wait that was frustrating; it was the dismissive attitude that followed. My concerns were minimized, and I was made to feel like I was overreacting. The final product, while visually appealing, had several finishing issues that needed immediate attention. It was as if they had rushed through the final stages to meet a deadline, sacrificing quality for the sake of completion. What's even more disappointing is the post-completion service. Despite numerous attempts to contact them about the defects, we've been met with silence. It's clear that O'Connor Builders Inc. is more interested in signing new clients than in standing behind their work and ensuring customer satisfaction. For a company that prides itself on 'creating an environment where families can live, grow, and create memories,' they've failed us miserably. Unless they seriously revamp their customer service and quality control, I would advise potential clients to steer clear of O'Connor Builders Inc.
