June 06, 2025Fell Short of Expectations at Neuromotion Surrey
I visited Neuromotion's Surrey location with high hopes, given their comprehensive range of rehabilitation services. Unfortunately, my experience was a letdown. The counselling sessions, which I had been looking forward to, felt rushed and lacked the personalized touch I was promised. The hypnotherapy, while interesting, didn't seem to align with my specific needs, and I left feeling like just another patient rather than an individual with unique challenges. The neurological physiotherapy was perhaps the most disappointing aspect; the exercises felt generic and didn't address the functional limitations I'm dealing with. I appreciated the option for telerehabilitation, but the technology often malfunctioned, making our sessions frustrating. What bothered me most was the lack of follow-through on their community initiatives. I had been excited about the MOVE Adapted Fitness program, but when I inquired, it seemed disorganized and not as inclusive as advertised. Neuromotion's mission to provide compassionate, evidence-based care is commendable, but my experience suggested they still have a way to go in making it a reality for every patient. With so many services and a clear desire to help, it's disappointing that the execution fell short. Perhaps with more attention to individual patient needs and better implementation of their community programs, Neuromotion could live up to its full potential.
