I'm still trying to process how a company that prides itself on 'capturing the most important moments' of our wedding day could so utterly fail us. My husband and I chose My Marvelous Images based on their portfolio and the promise of a 'journalistic approach' that would tell our unique love story. What we got was a lackluster experience from start to finish. First, the photographer showed up late to our engagement shoot, which already set a bad tone. Then, on the actual wedding day, they missed some of the most crucial moments - like the first look and the cake cutting. When we finally received our photos, we were shocked to find that more than half of the shots were poorly lit, out of focus, or just plain awkward. The 'personalized approach' we were promised felt more like a cookie-cutter template applied to every couple's photos. We were expecting at least 500 photos for the price we paid, but we only got 200, and most of them were of the wedding decorations or random guests we've never met. The few good photos we did get were over-edited to the point where they looked nothing like us. My Marvelous Images seems more concerned with their reputation as 'one of the top wedding photography services' than actually delivering quality work. If you want your special day to be truly captured, I'd advise looking elsewhere. One star from me, and that's being generous.
