I'm still trying to understand the hype around My Golden Hour. As someone who's tried their fair share of wellness studios in Paris, I was excited to experience what this studio had to offer. Unfortunately, my visit was a letdown from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I felt like I was in a overly trendy boutique rather than a serene wellness space. The decor, while aesthetically pleasing, didn't quite live up to the 'golden hour' ambiance I was expecting. My instructor, though knowledgeable, seemed more interested in chatting with the regulars than actually guiding us through the class. The Pilates session I attended was crowded, with mats practically touching each other—a far cry from the 'welcoming and supportive environment' they claim to offer. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect was the pushy sales pitch for their skincare treatments and products after the class. It felt less like a genuine recommendation and more like a calculated attempt to upsell. For the prices they're charging, I expect a lot more than what My Golden Hour delivered. Unless they revamp their approach to focus more on the client experience and less on making a quick euro, I wouldn't recommend this studio to anyone looking for a meaningful wellness experience in Paris.
