I'm still trying to process the disappointment I felt after working with Mr B Carpentry on my garden room project. As someone who values sustainability and unique design, I thought their focus on FSC-rated timber and eco-friendly insulation would translate into a beautiful and functional space. Unfortunately, the final product fell far short of my expectations. The 'Light Room' design I chose looked stunning in the brochure, but in reality, it lacked the attention to detail and quality craftsmanship I'd been promised. The British-grown cladding, while a nice touch, couldn't make up for the lackluster construction and subpar materials used in other areas of the build. What really sealed the deal for me, though, was the egregious price tag. I understand that bespoke carpentry comes at a cost, but the quote I received from Mr B Carpentry was nothing short of extortionate. For the money, I expected a level of service and quality that simply wasn't delivered. The personalized service they touted was nonexistent, with lengthy delays and a general sense of disorganization throughout the project. If you're in the market for a garden room, I'd advise exploring other options. There are plenty of other companies out there that can offer similar quality and attention to detail without breaking the bank. Needless to say, I won't be recommending Mr B Carpentry to anyone anytime soon.
