June 06, 2025Disappointing Experience at Mary Queen Catholic Church
I was really looking forward to attending Mass at Mary Queen Catholic Church, but unfortunately, my experience was a letdown. The Saturday Vigil at 5:30 pm was overcrowded, and the parking situation was chaotic. I had to park quite far from the church and walk in the heat, which wasn't ideal. The service itself was nice, but the sound system was not great, and I had trouble hearing the priest at times. I also tried to attend confession on Wednesday, but the line was extremely long, and I ended up leaving without being able to receive the sacrament. I was disappointed that the church didn't have a better system in place for confession, especially since it's such an important part of the Catholic faith. The live streaming option on Youtube was a nice touch, but the video quality was poor, and it kept buffering. I understand that technical issues can happen, but it would be great if the church could invest in better equipment. Despite the friendly community and beautiful church building, my overall experience was disappointing. I hope that the church will take steps to address these issues and improve the experience for its parishioners.
