Disappointing Experience with Overhyped Restoration

I'm writing this review as a warning to fellow classic car enthusiasts: beware of Mark's Garage and their overpriced, underwhelming services. As a longtime collector of vintage Mercedes Benz, I expected a high level of expertise and attention to detail from this renowned establishment. Unfortunately, my experience was a resounding disappointment. The restoration process took an eternity, with constant delays and excuses from the team. When I finally received my beautifully refurbished 1962 300SL, I was appalled to find that the interior had been reupholstered with subpar materials, completely inconsistent with the vehicle's original specifications. The paint job, while glossy, had noticeable orange peel and lacked the depth I've come to expect from a premium restoration. But what really took the cake was the astronomical bill I received, which seemed to be justified solely by the company's reputation rather than the actual quality of work. For the exorbitant prices they charge, one would expect nothing short of perfection. Sadly, Mark's Garage failed to deliver on their promises, leaving me feeling like I'd been taken for a ride. Unless they seriously revamp their operations and focus on delivering exceptional quality, I'd advise potential clients to take their business (and their classic Mercedes) elsewhere.
