I'm writing this review as a concerned parent who has been left feeling disappointed and frustrated with the experience my child has had at Madison Consolidated Schools. Despite the district's claims of providing a high-quality education, I have seen firsthand the lack of attention given to individual students' needs. The recent renovations at Anderson Elementary School, while aesthetically pleasing, seem to have done little to address the underlying issues of overcrowding and outdated teaching methods. My child has struggled to keep up with the curriculum, and the lack of support from teachers has been alarming. The district's emphasis on accountability and transparency is commendable, but it feels like a superficial effort when the actual education and support for students are lacking. I've tried to engage with the administration, including Superintendent Dr. Teresa Brown, but my concerns have fallen on deaf ears. As a parent, it's heartbreaking to see my child's potential not being nurtured due to the shortcomings of the school district. Until significant changes are made to address these issues, I would not recommend Madison Consolidated Schools to other families.
