I stopped by Liamuiga Caribbean Grill with high expectations, given the rave reviews and the promise of 'Tasting the Caribbean Spice.' Unfortunately, my experience was a letdown from start to finish. The service, while friendly, was slow and seemed disorganized, with our server appearing overwhelmed despite the restaurant not being full. The real disappointment, however, was the food. I ordered the jerk chicken, expecting the bold, aromatic flavors that jerk seasoning is known for, but what I got was a dish that tasted more like bland, overcooked chicken with a hint of spice. The sides were unremarkable as well, with the 'island rice' lacking any distinctive flavor and the steamed vegetables tasting like they'd been sitting out for a while.
