June 09, 2025Disappointing Experience with Krocan Snacks
I was really looking forward to trying out Krocan's snacks for my dog, given their focus on natural ingredients and healthy recipes. Unfortunately, the experience was a letdown. First, the chicken fillets, which were supposed to be high in protein and low in fat, smelled off as soon as I opened the pack. My dog, usually eager to try new treats, sniffed at them and walked away. I tried to give her the beef sticks instead, but those seemed too hard and dry. The skewers, which I thought would be a fun and interactive snack, were just too messy and fell apart easily. What really disappointed me, though, was the lack of transparency about the sourcing of their ingredients. As someone who tries to support sustainable and ethical businesses, I found it concerning that Krocan doesn't provide clear information about where their meat and other ingredients come from. Given the premium pricing, I expected not just a healthier snack but also a commitment to ethical practices. Although the idea behind Krocan is admirable, the execution falls short in terms of quality control and transparency. Until they address these issues, I'll have to look elsewhere for my pet's snacks.
