I recently took my car to Kelowna Auto Care for what I thought was a straightforward repair job. Unfortunately, the experience was a disaster from start to finish. The initial estimate of $800 quickly ballooned to over $1,200, and the repair took three days longer than promised. The communication was poor, and I had to call multiple times to get updates on the status of my car. When I finally got my car back, I noticed that one of the issues I had brought it in for was still present. The team seemed friendly, but the lack of attention to detail and the failure to meet their own deadlines was staggering. For a shop that prides itself on honesty and integrity, I expected a lot better. The $145 per hour shop rate seems reasonable, but when you're being charged for extra days and unexpected repairs, it adds up quickly. I'm extremely disappointed in the service I received from Kelowna Auto Care and would caution others to carefully review their estimates and ask plenty of questions before leaving their car in their care.
