I visited Kangchon with high hopes of tasting authentic Korean cuisine, but my experience was a disaster from start to finish. First, the wait for a table was longer than expected, and when we were finally seated, it took an eternity to get our orders taken. The server seemed overwhelmed, and it showed in the service. When the food finally arrived, I was disappointed to find that my Bulgogi was overcooked and dry, lacking the rich flavors I've come to expect from this dish. The Kimchi, which I was looking forward to, was not spicy enough and tasted more like a watered-down version of the real thing. To make matters worse, the restaurant's atmosphere, which I had heard was inviting, felt more like a chaotic mess, with loud noises and a general sense of disorganization. Perhaps it was just a bad day, but my visit to Kangchon was a letdown. With so many other great Korean restaurants in the area, I wouldn't recommend Kangchon to anyone looking for a genuine Korean dining experience.
