I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received from Jovie of Barrington. As a working mom, I trusted them to provide top-notch childcare for my two kids, but unfortunately, they failed to deliver. The first nanny they sent was late, and when I called to complain, the office staff seemed unconcerned. The second nanny they provided was nice but completely unengaged with my children, who were left to entertain themselves for most of the day. When I asked for a refund or some kind of compensation for the subpar service, they gave me the runaround, citing their 'strict policies.' The 24/7 availability they advertise is a joke - I called at 8 pm to ask for help with a last-minute schedule change, and no one answered. I had to leave a message and wait until the next day for a response. For a company that claims to be all about building relationships and providing personalized care, Jovie of Barrington fell woefully short. The lack of accountability and follow-through is staggering. Unless they seriously revamp their staffing and customer service, I would not recommend them to anyone. One star from me, and that's being generous.
