June 06, 2025Disappointing Experience with Overhyped Florist
I was really looking forward to using Jill's Flower Shop for my mom's birthday, given all the rave reviews and their supposed '22 years of experience'. Unfortunately, my experience was a letdown from start to finish. First, the website was clunky and didn't work properly on my phone, so I had to call in my order. The person on the phone seemed rushed and didn't really listen to what I wanted, just kept trying to upsell me on more expensive arrangements. When I went to pick up the bouquet, it looked nothing like the picture online - the flowers were wilted, and the arrangement was sloppy. For a shop that claims to be 'committed to providing the freshest flowers', I was shocked at the poor quality. The owner, Jill, wasn't even there to apologize or offer to fix the issue, just some apologetic employee who seemed overwhelmed. With so many other options in the area, I won't be back. Maybe they're just resting on their laurels after all these years, but for a special occasion, I expect a lot better. 2/10, would not recommend.
