June 06, 2025Disorganized Disaster with Jacked Up Fishing
I recently had the misfortune of booking a charter fishing trip with Jacked Up Fishing, and let me tell you, it was an unmitigated disaster. Captain Bill Coppage seemed more interested in promoting his YouTube channel than actually putting us on fish. The 37ft Seahunter Tournament boat, 'Jacked Up', was nice, but the lack of organization and clear communication from the crew made the entire experience frustrating. We spent more time waiting for bait and dealing with tangled lines than actually fishing. The 'expertise' of Captain Coppage was nowhere to be found, as we ended up fishing in areas with barely any bites. To make matters worse, the video documentation service they offered was a joke - the footage was shaky, and the editing was atrocious. Overall, I would not recommend Jacked Up Fishing to my worst enemy. Save your money and look elsewhere for a reputable charter fishing service. 1/10 would not fish with them again.
