June 06, 2025Disaster from Start to Finish - IAS Failed Me
I'm typically not one to write reviews, but my experience with Image Auto Styling (IAS) was so disastrous that I felt compelled to warn others. As an avid off-roader, I was excited to customize my truck with their suspension components and wheels. Unfortunately, from the moment I walked into their Lake St Louis location, I knew I was in trouble. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and it took them over an hour just to acknowledge me, let alone start discussing my build. The 'expert' they assigned to me seemed to know less about suspension systems than I do, which is saying something considering I'm no expert. When I asked about their hot specials, they just shrugged and said they were 'out of stock' on everything I wanted. Fast forward a few weeks, and I received my order - incorrect, of course. Not only did they send the wrong wheels, but they also managed to damage the suspension components during shipping. The 'fast shipping' they boasted about? More like slow and careless. To add insult to injury, their customer service team was completely unhelpful when I tried to resolve the issue. They kept transferring me to different people, each of whom seemed to have no knowledge of my case or any interest in fixing the problem. After several frustrating phone calls, I was told that I'd have to pay for return shipping on the incorrect items - a cost that I was not willing to incur. Needless to say, I will never be doing business with Image Auto Styling again. Their claim of 'great customer service' is nothing more than a joke, and their products, while perhaps of good quality, are clearly not worth the hassle. Save your time and money, folks, and take your business (and your vehicle) elsewhere.
