I'm not sure what all the fuss is about, but my experience at Ice N Spice was a letdown. As an Indian food enthusiast, I've had my fair share of authentic dishes, and sadly, this place didn't live up to the hype. The ambiance was nice, I'll give them that - cozy decor and friendly staff. However, the food was a different story altogether. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, which was surprisingly underseasoned and lacked the rich, creamy flavor I've come to expect from this dish. The naan bread was stale, and the basmati rice was overcooked. For a restaurant that claims to bring the 'authentic taste of India' to Canada, I was disappointed to find that the flavors were dull and uninspired. Maybe it was just an off day, but I won't be returning to find out. With so many other amazing Indian restaurants in Mississauga, Ice N Spice needs to step up its game if it wants to stand out from the crowd. Until then, I'd recommend giving it a pass.
