When I asked about it, the mechanic seemed put off, telling me it was 'just as good' without explaining why they didn't use the brands they claim to offer. The real kicker was when I found out they hadn't even checked my cabin air filter, something they themselves stress is important for keeping the vehicle's interior clean. The emphasis on regular tune-ups and the potential for saving money, boosting resale value, and increasing fuel economy sounded great, but it seemed more like a sales pitch than a genuine concern for my vehicle's health.
