I'm still trying to process the whirlwind of disappointment that was my experience with Hytek Water Conditioning. It started with a friendly enough consultation, where they promised the world - better tasting water, improved appliance longevity, the works. But, as it often does, reality had other plans. The installation team showed up late, and not just by a few minutes, but by a whopping 57 minutes. I timed it. No call, no message, just a knock on the door with a 'hey, we're here' attitude. The work itself seemed shoddy; they left a mess and didn't bother to clean up after themselves. When I tried to reach out about the issues, the customer service was less than stellar. It felt like they were reading from a script, completely uninvested in my concerns. To top it all off, the water quality, the very reason I hired them, hasn't improved as promised. If anything, it might be slightly worse. For a company that prides itself on 'better living through better water,' they certainly didn't deliver for me. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but given the sheen has worn off, I'm left with a bad taste - not from the water, but from the service. Competitive prices, they claimed? More like competitive levels of frustration. The free estimate was the most accurate part of our interaction; everything else felt like a series of broken promises.
