Gamer Life
About This Business
Gamer Life is a retail company specializing in the buying and selling of video games, consoles, and related accessories. They pride themselves on offering competitive trade-in values, typically at least double what big retailers offer, with the option to receive cash or store credit. The company has a loyalty program called Ninja Rewards, which allows customers to accumulate points through purchases, social media actions, product reviews, referrals, and birthdays, redeemable for discounts on future purchases. The higher the customer's Ninja Rank, the more benefits and perks they receive. Gamer Life ensures that all their video games and consoles are cleaned, tested, and repaired as needed to guarantee proper operation, addressing common issues such as dirty cartridge pins, scratched discs, and damaged handheld screens. They also utilize aftermarket replacement parts for certain consoles and handhelds to maintain functionality. With a strong online presence, including a website and social media platforms, Gamer Life aims to provide a comprehensive and reliable shopping experience for gamers. The company is committed to customer satisfaction, offering a range of products, including new releases like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and providing detailed product descriptions to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. By focusing on quality, customer loyalty, and competitive pricing, Gamer Life strives to be a leading destination for gamers looking to buy, sell, and trade video games and consoles.

June 06, 2025Ninja Rewards Couldn't Save My Experience
I'm a hardcore gamer and was super stoked to discover Gamer Life, thinking they'd be my go-to for all things gaming. Unfortunately, my experience was a major letdown. I tried to trade in my old PS4 games, and while they did offer a decent price, the process took forever. I mean, I've seen glacial pacing in some RPGs, but this was on another level. The staff seemed overwhelmed, and it looked like they were still using ancient technology to process trades. I was really looking forward to using my Ninja Rewards points, but it seemed like the system was down... again. The website said I had enough points for a discount, but when I got to the store, they told me it wasn't working. It was like they expected me to just magically know that. The games and consoles they had on display looked okay, but I did notice some of the older titles were pretty rough around the edges. I asked one of the employees about the condition, and they just kinda shrugged it off, saying 'oh, it's just cosmetic.' Cosmetic?! You can't just slap a new case on a broken console and call it a day. That's not how you treat customers, especially not gamers who care about their gear. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but as a loyal customer, I expect more. Until they get their act together, I'm taking my gaming business (and my Ninja Rewards points) elsewhere.
