I must say, my experience with Galvez Yachts Inc. was nothing short of underwhelming. As a seasoned yacht owner, I've had my fair share of dealings with various repair and maintenance companies, but this one left a sour taste in my mouth. The initial estimate seemed reasonable, but the final bill was a different story altogether. It seemed like they tacked on extra charges for every little thing, and when I questioned them about it, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. The work itself was subpar, with several issues still present after the supposed 'repairs.' The paint job on the bottom of my yacht was uneven, and the fiberglass repair looked like it was done by an amateur. I was expecting a higher level of quality from a company with such a reputation, but alas, it seems that reputation is not entirely deserved. The staff seemed disorganized, and communication was lacking throughout the process. I had to call multiple times just to get updates on the status of my yacht, and even then, the information was vague and unhelpful. Perhaps it was just an off day, but my encounter with Galvez Yachts Inc. was a resounding disappointment. Unless they seriously revamp their customer service and work quality, I would not recommend them to my worst enemy.
